Now when a person thinks very deeply into human life, it is always puzzling and confusing as we are unable to get any real answers.

At the same it is rarely that very few people go away from normal life, searching for GOD and solution to mystery surrounding our life. Whereas scientists are looking for the secrets of life in the space, spending billions and billions.

It is not that now only the present generation has been so intelligent and have the technology to find out the truth, it is always been the work of humans in the past and millions of years back also. The Indus valley civilization is a standing example of how humans were so intelligent and had knowledge of perfect town and country planning systems even before 4000 years back. even today, there are many towns do not have such drainage systems.

Does this mean that people born after that  were never intelligent, for so many years (for about 3500 years?). It looks as though only about 300/400 years back real scientists were born and found out many truths of life. Many of the great inventions were lost and many rarest drawings sculptures were also lost.

The present astronomy scenario as given by scientists through animations were there some thousands of years back. The Great Mayans even sculptured the solar system so perfectly. In Hindu mythology also, there are so many sculptures and writing which even could not be understood.

Likewise there are so many written transcripts lost due to wars and natural calamities, and in such circumstances, it should not be concluded that those ancient people were not having enough technology and that they were not intelligent. It is simply said that whatever they said were all superstitious beliefs. They do not have any scientific evidences and therefore they are not to be taken as true.

I would like to suggest that why should all the things be dismissed? and why no proper research were undertaken?. Why not try to find the reasons for such saying which looks to be so irreverent in todays context ? .  I think we should never conclude that because there is no scientific evidence today, it should  be dismissed summarily. Till such time our scientists prove the realities in life and have the ability to dictate terms Mother earth/ other planetary systems, all the materials available with us needs to be probed.

When i was making research on human life, I was eager to find out one the very famous superstitious beliefs in the Hindu religion, namely walking on the fire. Many religions around the world have almost similar practices. As per the people, it is said that after praying solutions for some of their serious problems in life, walking On the FIRE BED will solve their problems. Many people told me that it is true and that though it cannot be proved one has to pray and do it to realize the same.

I am not convinced about it and wanted to refer to many old scripts and talk to people who are working on this subject. Everyone said in their own way and some looked like reasonable, but mostly were not convincing.

I was terribly upset as I was so confident  that our ancient people were not so fools to suggest such ways, and that there must be some reasons for the same. The real reason behind this are as follows:

It is a kind of practice adopted amongst several other measures by our ancient people and is purely for the purpose of controlling and stabilizing the mental vibrations. In other words, human mind is so fast running and NO one will ever be able to stop its speed. It is said that human mind thinks at a speed of 1000 times (more than) the speed of light. Unless ways are found to control the speed, human life will be miserable. This is what exactly is the finding by our ancients and sages for the suffering of humans.

It is only with the sole idea of trying to educate the people in this regard and make them understand, our ancient people devised methods. No one can dispute on one point that perfect control and balance of mind by a person will always ensure safety of his survival. The person will enjoy and lead a peaceful life.  Over and above all these things everyone will get attracted towards a person who is very calm ( a person will not be able to be calm unless he controls his mind), never talks much and deals things systematically. To achieve such a level, very tough and hard practices are must and had to be followed by him strictly.

Every human born in this world always thinks and thinks and it never ends. Some of my visitors too asked me as to why mind thinks for ever on its own?. Well, it is such a huge mystery which, no one ever tried to find out the truth.

In my experience, I would like to say that whether it is human mind or animals/birds etc.,mind thinkings. never stops and is absolutely not under the control of anyone. We can never get any idea about from where the thinking is thrust into the mind.  It is only old great sages have come out with some ideas. Even for verifying the same, our scientific community will make us blink, as there is no way it can be proved.

I think everyone should ask for themselves as to why our mind never stops and thinks on its own?. From where the thinking comes inside? and how it enters our mind?.The basic truth here is ,mind thinks so long as the life resides inside body ,and it leaves the body once we are dead. I strongly feel that our thinking never dies and it lives for ever.

It is due to this fact that thinking and actions done during the lifetime ( travels beyond death too), and it is for sure that when a life is born it continues. This reasoning also establishes the fact that after death, there is birth. The great Sage ADHI SANKARA in His famous song says birth and death is a usual phenomena and it never stops. I strongly believe that actions done by us continues even after death.

Now when a person goes to sleep, he remembers next day all the things he did during the previous day. Either he continues with the work left previous day or starts new work. Death and birth are just similar to sleep. That is why there is famous saying that sleep is the rehearsal of death.

But the question here is where these thoughts are held up? after death of a person, and how it ensures entering the same person died, who is born in this world?. It is here, we have to understand that  superior power in the name of GOD ensures that the person is made to undo and do whatever he has done in the last birth.

We can also say that the theory of rebirth is true and we have seen many research in this regard. Many people born have also narrated their past life which was verified to be true. Therefore, the thinking in the mind travels and we do not know we are in which state of birth and/or how it will go on.

After sleeping in the night ,when we get up next day, sometimes we forget many things did previously, but it strikes only ,when we deeply think about it as someone recollects, to enable us to understand. Similarly, when we are in deep thinking many things come in our mind. As one of customer used to say, when he prays he sees some bad omen chases him and kills him.  It is not only he, but many people used to say such things. Why it is coming to them? and what is this?.

It is all about human life which was the major thrust for our ancient people/ great sages. Not like today’s scientists, concentrating on how to become famous, how to make money cheating others. None of the scientific community nor the governments ever take study on human life, its sufferings and solutions for the same.

Research after research and billions spent  only  makes some few famous and rich. No where and none of the governments have ever thought it fit to make life simple and ever having real peace of mind, live happily. Some handful of people exploit others and does everything possible to be rich always, at the cost of anything.

It is not new for this mother earth to see such kind of people. Mother earth has seen super tsunamis, super earth quakes, super storm, super Volcanic eruptions etc., but Mother never disappeared. She lives as young and green as ever. Only people are killed in all these cases and their wealth is destroyed. many people were made to starve for food.

After the storm is over Mother earth is calm as usual. Have any of the scientists ever thought it fit to find out the reasons for such natural calamities? and is there any way of preventing them?. Not only now, it is for ever that humans can never predict or stop or prevent such things so long as earth is being partitioned for selfish interests.

Earth is a common wealth given to living beings on a temporary basis for us to live by Mother Earth. Like taking a rented premises for our home, Earth is a rent free accommodation for every life on the earth. No one should  ever think of ownership and because of such kind of attitude of humans, the earth will face many severe calamities. Always remember that no damage will happen to Mother earth, but only living beings ( more so we human beings),will be badly hit.

Taking into the account these factors, the only way for us to think to find an answer to all these questions are looking for ever living planets /stars etc., This is how the ancient sages tried to find out reasons for human sufferings and how to overcome the same.

The story of Sri Rama, the eternal-incarnation of God (Lord Vishnu) on earth is told by the immortal poet Sage Valmiki in Ramayana. Emperor Dasaratha performed Aswamedha sacrifice to procure children. Sage Valmiki indicates in Canto XVIII of Bala Kanda, that Sri Rama was born after about a year had passed from the date of the completion of Aswamedha sacrifice. The Lord was born on the ninth lunar day of the bright fortnight of Chaitra, when the star Punarvasu was in the ascendant. The five planets (Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn) were in their respective exaltation positions. The Sun in the 10th degree of Aries, the Moon in the 3rd degree of Taurus, Mars in the 28th degree of Capricorn, Jupiter in the 5th degree of Cancer, Venus in the 27th degree of Pisces and Saturn in the 20th degree of Libra are the exalted positions. Jupiter and Moon are in conjunction in Cancer. The three padams (quarters) of Punarvasu is located in Gemini, and the fourth padam is located in Cancer. As Jupiter is ex alted in Cancer and is in conjunction with Moon, it must be the fourth padam of Punarvasu at the time of birth of Sri Rama. The ascendant is Cancer. However, the actual year of birth is not furnished in Srimad Valmiki-Ramayana, other Vedic Scriptures or recognized Theological texts. Regardless of the year of birth of Lord Rama, the remarkable planetary positions shown in Sri Rama’s horoscope can only occur once in many-many thousand years.

Prior to discussing Sri Rama’s chart, one needs to carefully consider whether the classical principles of Vedic Astrology are applicable to God, who has incarnated as Sri Rama. As an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Sri Rama was born on the earth in the form of a human. Unlike the rest of the human population, Sri Rama possessed divine qualities. Horoscope matching is a very important step in India for settlement of marriages. Hindu families generally act according to the dictates of the horoscope. “Manglik dosha” becomes a big issue in the settlement of marriage of a girl or a boy because it is considered to be the most important parameter in match-making. Marriages, at times, get abnormally delayed due to such problems.

The placement of “Mangal” (Mars) in the horoscope is the main parameter for consideration of “Manglik dosha“. A person can be considered “Manglik” if in his horoscope Mars is placed in the “lagna” (ascendant), the fourth house, the seventh house, the eighth house or the twelfth house. Some astrologers and astrological texts consider the second house also for judging “Manglik dosha”.

There may be reasons why these houses have been given importance in match-making. The “lagna” represents the self. The placement of Mars in the “lagna” may make a person aggressive and violent. The second house represents “kutumb” (immediate family). Placement of Mars in the second house may cause problems in adjustment with the family. The fourth house is the house of comforts. Placement of Mars in the fourth house can mar family comforts. The seventh house is the house of marriage and the placement of Mars in the seventh house may create misunderstandings in marital life. The eighth house is the house of “ayu” (longevity) and also the “suhaag bhava” (house indicating longevity of marriage). Hence, placement of Mars in this house indicates danger to self as well as spouse. The twelfth house is the house of marital happiness and placement of Mars in this house is also not considered good.

The counting of houses should be done from the “lagna“, the Moon and the Venus. With so many houses and parameters involved, it becomes hard to find a horoscope without a “Manglik dosha”. However, in case where “Manglik dosha” is severe i.e., when Mars is heavily afflicted with no benefic associations or aspect, “Manglik dosha” can cause problems in marital life.

For elaborating “Manglik dosha”, we have taken reference from “Jatak Bharnam” which happens to be a trusted astrological classic dealing in Vedic astrology. We have translated some of the verses of the book dealing with the effects of placement of Mars in the “lagna“, the second house, the fourth house, the seventh house, the eighth house and the twelfth house.

a)  If Mars is placed in the “lagna“, the native may be prone to mental illusions, may have a diseased body, may be courageous but violent and may travel far and wide.

b) If Mars is placed in the second house, the native may be poor and may keep friendship with evil-minded people. He may be devoid of wisdom, merciless and inimical to kith and kin.

c) If Mars is placed in the fourth house, the native may have problems from friends, vehicles, fear of fall from vehicles, enhancement in body disease and general weakness.

d) If Mars is placed in the seventh house, it may cause several types of sufferings. The native may have problems from enemies, unnecessary worries, body weakness and sorrows produced by attractions to opposite sex.

e) If Mars is placed in the eighth house, the native may have eye disease, bad luck, problems due to blood-related disease and inclination for mean works. It may also cause general dullness of mind and make the person critical of holy people.

f) If Mars is placed in the twelfth house, the native may have enmity with friends, eye disease and a restless body. He may indulge in unwise expenses of wealth, may lose self-esteem and suffer from bondage.

People often quote the following verse showing the veracity of the “Manglik dosha”.

“Lagne vyaye cha patale jamitre chaasthame kuje,
kanya bhartri vinashaaya bharta kanya vinaashaka”

Meaning: – If Mars is in “lagna“, fourth house, seventh house, eighth house or the twelfth house of the horoscope, the spouse (husband for a girl and wife for the husband) causes the death of the spouse.

Can Mars alone cause such tragedies in marital life? Normally, it has been observed, that if Mars is without any malefic association or aspect, it may not cause havoc in marriage. Therefore, the verse cited above cannot be followed blindly. Sometimes divorce or separation may also result from “Manglik dosha” if the afflictions are severe.

Cancellation of “Manglik dosha”:-

There are some situations in which “Manglik dosha” gets cancelled and advice for marriage may be given.

a) If there are similar afflictions in the horoscopes of the boy and the girl, the “Manglik dosha” gets cancelled.

b) If one of them has Mars in the “lagna“, second, fourth, seventh, eighth or the twelfth house and the other has Saturn or “Rahu / Ketu” in the “lagna“, second, fourth, seventh, eighth or the twelfth house, then too, the defects get cancelled.

Reduction in “Manglik dosha”:-

In some cases the effects of “Manglik dosha” get diluted considerably if other parameters of the horoscope are matching. Marriage may be recommended on such dilutions also.

a) Benefic planets in “Kendra” (quadrant) and “Trikona” (trines) increase the happiness in marital life.

b) Malefic planets in third, sixth and the eleventh house make the horoscope strong. This helps in checking the negative factors with respect to marriage.

c) If Mars is placed in its own house, it generally does not spoil it. Hence, if Mars is placed in Aries or Scorpio and placed in the “Manglik” position as described earlier, it may not harm.

d) Aspect of Jupiter on Mars or placement of Jupiter with Mars is said to reduce the “Manglik dosha”.

e) Mars placed in conjunction with Saturn or “Rahu / Ketu” is said to reduce the “Manglik dosha”. However, this is debatable as malefic associations may multiply the problems.

It remains a point of argument whether cancellation of “Manglik dosha” ensures marital happiness or only prolongs the duration of unhappy married life.
