LOOK FORWARD – WITH HOPE!

At this time of year we all spend more time in our homes, keeping warm, planning holidays and hoping that the New Year brings us more luck.

Somebody once said that we make our own luck, and that we are all masters of our own destinies.  There is some truth in the saying, as we all have choices and decisions to make from almost the day we are born.  Some people are indeed lucky – they always seem to make the right decision or choice, whereas as the majority of us are just feeling our way in the dark.  But are they lucky?  Have they got some kind of second sense?  The answer is “no”,  a lot have a natural instinct, but most take advantage of any kind of help they can get. This help can come in many different forms.

Astrology is one of the oldest arts which people have successfully used over the years.  Why and how it works is still a mystery, but it has been proved beyond doubt, that it does.  An astrologer cannot make a decision or choice for you, but can tell you the favourable times when destiny is on your side.  He can tell you when it is a wise time to invest, when you will have the chance to meet someone very interesting.  You simply have to decide whether you accept this.

Luck is not only about love and money – to some people having just enough is considered lucky.  To know that you are loved (whether it be by your dog, friends or family) is enough to keep a lot of people content.  Luck can play a big part with our health.  A good astrologer can advise you on what is considered your weak points, thus giving you every opportunity to protect yourself.  It makes sense that if your tummy is your “weak point”, it is better to avoid foods that irritate it.  The choice is always yours.

Because of their profound interest in the heavens, many astrologers are naturally psychic.  They are not fortune-tellers, they have simply learnt to trust their instincts and act on them.  We can all learn from them, once again the choiced is ours alone.

So for your New Years Resolution, why not make a few positive decisions, and use all the tools available, including a good astrologer.  This time next year, take stock, and see what a difference you have made to your life.

Significance of Colors in Astrological Remedies

The visible light which is a mixture of seven colors gets manifested in violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red (VIBGYOR). These colors originate from the Sun and travel in different wave lengths with varying energy intensities.

The visible light is the source of all life in the biosphere and it is responsible for all the biogeochemical cycles in the environment of the earth which sustains all the plant and animal life including the life of human beings. The main driver of energy is the Sun from where the color waves originate.

The significance of colors has been documented by scientific research in recent times. Its significance was, however, known to the people before the development of modern science. Vedic astrology developed in India. There were developments in the Greek empire, in Egypt, Babylon and in the Mayan civilizations also. In all astrological treaties, the significance of color was emphasized for astrological remedies.

In Vedic astrology, the fundamental subject of research is the role of navgrahas (nine planets) in the horoscope which are said to govern the entire life of the native from birth till death and beyond. The nine planets are also emitters or reflectors of rays of different colors. The reflected and emitted color rays provide a distinctive appearance to a particular planet. The studies on these matters are available in Egyptian, Greek and Babylonian astrological literatures also.

The color of the Sun is a combination of orange and red. However, it is generally considered red in color. The Moon is pale white but it reflects the orange red rays of the Sun. Mars is of red color but it also reflects the yellow rays of the Sun. Mercury is of green color and reflects green rays. Jupiter is of orange-yellow color but reflects mainly blue rays of the spectrum. Venus is considered to be pure white but it also reflects indigo rays of the spectrum. Saturn is of black color and reflects violet rays of the Sun.

The two shadow planets Rahu and Ketu have also been assigned colors in Vedic astrology. Rahu is considered to be black while Ketu is brown.

Compatibility of Colors in Astrological Remedies:-

We often find “lucky number” and “lucky colors” in astrological forecasts. The role of color is properly emphasized everywhere. Remedies for strengthening weak planets for bringing a balance in the life of an individual are prescribed by astrologers taking recourse to different means. These means may be mantra, tantra, gem therapy, puja (worship), daan (charity) etc in which some are related with colors.

While there are different mantras for propitiating different planets, there are hundreds of tantra systems which utilize fruits, flowers, leaves, roots, grains, pulses, oilseeds, cloths, woods, coal etc of different colors for different planets. A detailed discussion of these remedies is available in Lal-Kitab which is a treatise on astrology. The puja system which developed in the Vedic period, recommends the use of white rice, green leaves, red vermillion, yellow and red cloth, white sandal wood, red sandal wood and flowers of different colors for propitiating different planets and gods. A discussion is given below.

Sun: Since the color of Sun is red, the strengthening of Sun in the horoscope of an individual should be done with red flowers or saffron-color items. The recommended stone is ruby which is also red. This color represents energy and power. It also shows vitality and creativity. However, excess of red is harmful. Therefore, the weight of the gemstone has to be carefully decided. This color is not recommended to be used for people who have heart trouble.

Moon: It is pale white. This color contains all the seven colors of the spectrum and has purifying properties. It influences the thought process and leads towards virtue and spirituality. However, excess of white is also not good. The astrological methods for strengthening the Moon in the horoscope revolve around white items like white flowers (white lotus, jasmine, lily etc), milk, curd, rice flour, white sandalwood etc and among the gems white pearl is prescribed.

Mars: The red color Mars emits slightly yellowish rays. The difference between Sun red and Mars red is that the red in Sun indicates royalty while the red in Mars indicates violence. The redness of Mars associates with the RBC (red blood cells). Deficiency of Mars red can cause blood-related problems while the excess of red can be a cause of accidents and excessive aggression. For treatment of Mars-related problems red or yellow color is prescribed. The gems prescribed are red coral and pink coral. Prescribed herbs and grains are red lentil, ashwagandha (winter cherry), turmeric and onions which coincide with its fiery nature.

Mercury: This planet is of green color and this color stands for balance, harmony and hope. It has the capacity to calm down agitated nerves and mind. Therefore, this color is good for people suffering from heart problems. This is also good for pregnant women. Excess of greens can cause lethargy. Since, Lord Vishnu is symbolized by Mercury, green color basil leaves (tulsi) are recommended for Mercury-related problems. The other items are bhringaraj (Eclipta Alba), passion flower, zizyphus, mint, sage etc. The compatible gemstone is green emerald.

Jupiter: The color of Jupiter is yellow or yellowish orange. The effects of both these colors are generally positive. This is, therefore, a benefic planet. Its color has a warming effect and energizes the nervous system. The yellowness produces stimulating effect on intellect. The compatible items for treatment of Jupiter-related problems are ashwagandha and other yellow flowers. Nuts like almonds, walnuts and cashews are also prescribed. The compatible gemstone for Jupiter is yellow sapphire and yellow topaz.

Venus: The color is pure white which is a combination of all colors of spectrum. Moon is pale white but Venus is bright white. The effects of the white color are the same as in Moon but Moon represents simplicity while Venus represents sophistication. The compatible items for treatment of Venus related problems are rose, saffron, jasmine, lotus, lily, white musali (Asparagus adscendens), amalaki (Emblica officinalis), aloe gel (Aloe Vera) etc. The compatible gem stone is diamond.  White zircon and quartz crystal are also prescribed.

Saturn: The color of Saturn is black. This color is caused by the absence of light. The rays emitted by Saturn are of violet color. Black is a calming color for agitated persons and is also known for its protective properties. There are negative qualities also like resistance, obstruction, opposition, and enmity. Excess of black is a cause of depression. The compatible items for treating Saturn-related problems are generally of black color like, black sesame, urad, shilajit (Ozokerite), comfrey root, triphala (herbs including amalaki, bibhitaki and haritaki), iron etc. The compatible gemstone is blue sapphire which is highly risky to recommend because of the fiery nature of the planet.

Rahu: This shadow planet is regarded as smoky or black in color. The compatible items for treatment are camphor, bayberry, eucalyptus, sandalwood, lotus etc. Gomedha (hessonite garnet) is the recommended gemstone for Rahu-related issues.

Ketu: This shadow planet is generally considered brown in color. Brown color is not the original color of the spectrum. The compatible items for treating Ketu-related problems are bayberry, wild ginger, juniper, bhringaraj, skullcap, passion flower etc. The recommended gemstone is cat’s eye (chrysoberyl family).

Winter Solstice
This is a very special and intriguing week of the year! When the Sun is entering into Capricorn we have the Winter Solstice on our half of the planet, a day which has been considered sacred and meaningful in many traditions. The Winter Solstice is the turning point with the year’s longest and darkest night. Then the days will get longer again and with it the life giving power of the Sun is gaining strength.

I love to watch Discovery channel and the movies about nature and animals. One of the most impressive movies I ever saw in that field was called the March of the Penguins. This is the movie for the Winter Solstice! After braving a journey of several hundred miles over a frozen continent they end up in their destination to birth their young ones. I saw the movie years ago and I most clearly remember the moment when after weeks of total darkness and cold the Sun comes over the horizon.

What an enormous event after a time of tremendous hardship the penguins only survived because they huddled together in a big lump of bodies, rotating the outer ranks of penguins sheltering the inner ones from wind and cold. They all turn as one to the Sun as if welcoming it. If penguins were people it would probably be celebrated as a religious experience to have the life sustaining Sun come back with light and warmth. It was a moment which really touched my soul!

In most of our religions this end of darkness and cold, of contraction and perseverance through hardship is given a special place of celebration and reverence. The change into more light is symbolizing hope and survival of the specie. We are reminded of how fragile life really is and how valuable and unique in all its different expressions in our world. We celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas and many other Solstice related events.

We come together in our family and tribes of friends to share the optimism and hope for another fruitful year starting with the light gaining territory. We celebrate love and life and all the things that make life worth living.

This year we have an interesting week with many profound astrological events happening in the week of the Solstice. Even if this article is written as a forecast for this 52nd week of the year 2009 I believe you will find significant value in the described constellations in their eternal meaning and you will be deepening your general astrological understanding if you find your way to these pages at a later time.

This week’s noteworthy highlights are:

  • Winter Solstice
  • Last Jupiter Neptune Conjunction in Aquarius
  • Sun Enters Capricorn
  • Sun Conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn
  • Sun Square to Saturn
  • Venus Moving into Capricorn
  • Venus Pluto Conjunction
  • Mercury Turning Retrograde
  • Moon Starts out in Gentle Pisces, Steps into Innovative Aries and Finishes in Solid Taurus

Last Jupiter Neptune Conjunction in Aquarius on Monday

The week starts off with the last conjunction between the giants Jupiter and Neptune. The last contact in the back and forth dance between planets is the last chance to integrate and consolidate the lesson we have learned from both. Here the interweaving of the expansive forces of Jupiter looking for wisdom and deeper meaning had to coalesce with the dreamy aspirations and visions of Neptune. Only time will tell what will solidify out of this transit. I have written more in depth about Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron activities in Aquarius in other articles.

Sun Enters Capricorn on Monday
Capricorns are known to be earthy, steadfast and pragmatic.

Capricorn: The Conservative Pragmatist

Dec 21–Jan 20
Ruling Planet: Saturn
Element: Earth
Gender: Feminine

As people mature, they move from self-centered to be more oriented toward others. They begin to have a sense of their responsibility toward society. Capricorn is the first sign in the last quarter of the yearly cycle, representing this social stage. Capricorns seek to be in visible positions of power and prestige in society. Their high degree of organization, discipline, ambition, and intelligence make them perfect as leaders of organizations of all types, in government, business, and the military. Their conservative values and black-and-white thinking can make them inflexible with respect to morality. They are bent on success, holding high standards for themselves and others.

When the Sun is in Capricorn our aspirations can now turn easier into manifestations and we have the potential to be well organized and focused on what is truly important. In general there is more willingness to take a real good look at what is not working and take action steps accordingly.

Sun Conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn on Thursday
Whenever Pluto is part of a constellation we are confronted with a powerful, potent, extremely forceful and transforming influence. Pluto as the God of the underworld, the unknown is a very mighty God who compels us into change and deep processes of transformation. With the Sun in conjunction with this culprit of death, unrest and alteration we are forced to deepen our self awareness. Unresolved issues of desire and control could trigger strong reactions and backlash onto us.

Pluto in Capricorn is questioning the validity of hierarchy and ruler ship and judges on the ground of what works for the majority of people. Societal Structures that won’t work for the best of all will not survive Pluto’s transit through Capricorn.
The exposure of the worst manipulations in power structures of all kinds, in politics, concerning our government, corporate America and the stock market – all that is not over yet; structures are just beginning to crash and burn. It is a time of exposure of the worst, the chance to acknowledge our deficiencies and start anew.

In times like these it is an antidote to fear and anxieties to center and balance in our compassion and sense of oneness. When we rise in consciousness and approach life from an awareness of what we have to offer and contribute to others around us, we can make a significant difference. When we come from a place of an open and flowering heart we will feel full and abundant. If we approach life from that abundance the law of attraction will bring more of the same to us.

Sun Square to Saturn & Venus Entering Capricorn on Friday
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and the Sun in square with this signs ruler will slow things down significantly. It is Christmas day with many social activities. Saturn’s connection with Sun and Venus is a sobering one. Unresolved conflicts in the family might force their way into our consciousness and we are best served with honesty and truth. Saturn is the bringer of clarity and light into the darkness and is our chance to clear out old cobwebs. Remember one candle can light a whole room of darkness. It does not take much!

Venus Pluto Conjunction on Sunday

Venus, the Goddess of love and harmony in conjunction with Pluto is engaging us in deeper layers of our relationship and is honing our relationship skills. We might take a deeper step into committing ourselves then ever.

Mercury Turning Retrograde on Saturday

Mercury will stay in Capricorn for a longer then usual with it turning retrograde at 21 degrees Capricorn. In the three weeks of Mercury’s retrograde motion we should double check details, be very clear with our communication and correspondence. You can read more in depth about it in former articles of mine.

Moon Starts out in Gentle Pisces, Steps into Innovative Aries and Finishes in Solid Taurus
You can use the search feature on my blog to find more in depth descriptions of these specific Moon positions.

New Years Resolutions and Crystal Quartz to Program

With so many poignant astrological events at your disposal for conscious alignment this week, I believe this is the best time for your New Years resolutions. The Winter Solstice alone is a most formidable time to take stock and engage in setting new intentions and goals. There is true magic in new beginnings like New Moons, New Years and Solstices!

You can then use the Crystal Quartz to program your intentions and use it to deepen your inner connection with your goals. Read more about cleansing and programming of crystals in my former article on my site.

I wish you a wonderful time with your family and loved ones in whatever tradition you choose to celebrate.

Many blessings and aloha, Shakti.

Pitra Dosh and Misconceptions

This is one of the most important concepts of Indian astrology and it is called Pitra Dosh which is generally defined by many astrologers as the Curse of Ancestors meaning that the forefathers of the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope are unhappy with him and therefore they are cursing the native and due to that curse the native may suffer from debt, diseases, failures all around, being childless and in the worst cases early death due to accidents or serious diseases. And in case of Pitra Dosh, the misconception starts right from its definition which states that it is the curse of Ancestors. A Pitra Dosh is not a curse of the Ancestors for sure. The horoscope of a person is drawn and decided right at the time of his birth and accordingly any kind of defects are decided at the time of his birth which would include defects like Kaal Sarp Dosh, Manglik Dosh and Pitra Dosh among other defects. Coming to the defect called Pitra Dosh, if the defect is decided at the birth of a person, then what has this person done in this birth to get cursed by the ancestors. I mean if a person grows older and does some bad Karmas or Bad deeds which may bring disgrace to the good and fair name of Ancestors, then it may be considered that the Ancestors are cursing that person. But why curse a person before his birth. And for those people reading this article who may have an opinion that the person may have done some bad Karmas or bad deeds in the past lives and that is why he has got Pitra Dosh in his horoscope, let me tell you that in most of the cases a person born in a family line is none other than one of his own Ancestors. For example a person born in a family line is usually one of the forefathers of that family who has reborn in that family again. According to the theory of Karmic astrology, most of the people are born in the same family lines with same friends and same enemies in so many of their lives until their Karmic debts, duties and rewards are all cleared from that particular group of people or we can call them particular group of Souls. Coming back to the point, what actually is this Pitra Dosh if it is not a curse of the Ancestors. Let’s look into the matter and find out what is Pitra Dosh.

A Pitra Dosh is not a curse of the Ancestors, but it is a Karmic Debt of the ancestors which the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope is supposed to pay. In simple words a Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope of a person due to bad Karmas or bad deeds done by the Ancestors of that person and this person is supposed to pay that Karmic debt by suffering the punishments decided for those debts in different spheres of his life until the debt is cleared either by punishment or by the good deeds done by the person having this Pitra Dosh in his horoscope. So a Pitra Dosh in a horoscope does not mean that the ancestors are cursing the person having Pitra Dosh in his horoscope, but it means that the Ancestors of such a person are themselves cursed. This theory may sound confusing to some people, so let’s try to explain it on the basis of scientific as well as Karmic logics. Starting with science, it is a well known fact that there are a number of diseases found today which are genetic in nature which means that they are passed from mother or father to their children. A common example of such diseases would be diabetes which is prevailing throughout the world and in many cases it passes from generation to generation, though it may not affect some children born to a diabetic mother or father. In the same way a son generally inherits the assets and liabilities of his father which may have come from the forefathers also. Similarly other examples can be considered to validate the theory that the good or bad things earned, owned and owed by the parents or forefathers are passed on to the children of the family. The theory of Karmic debts also works in the same way with the only difference being that it shows the results in the present life based on the Karmas done in previous lives. And as I have already mentioned that most of the people are born within the same family lines  and same circle of friends, so an Ancestor suitable for the punishment of the Karmic debt of a family according to the bad Karmas done by him in his previous lives, is sent on earth to pay those debts and bear the punishments. And as this person does good or bad deeds in his present life, it contributes to the negative or positive Karmic balance of that family line where the negative balance means the debt and positive balance means the rewards which are going to be enjoyed by the coming generations of that family. This is why so much emphasis is put on doing good Karmas and it if often preached that the bad Karmas done by a person are going to affect the family line of that person which includes his children and their children and in the same way the good Karmas done by a person earn Karmic rewards which are paid to the future members of his family line who are going to enjoy good or great fortunes due to the good deeds done by their fathers and forefathers in the same way as a person enjoys the wealth earned and owned by his father. Let’s go deeper in this theory of Karmic Ancestral debts and rewards with the help of an example taken from Hindu Mythology.

This example belongs to the birth of the Holiest river belonging to Hindu religion which is called Maa Ganga by Indians and is commonly known as River Ganges by rest of the world. Long time back, there was a King name Sagar who was an Ancestor of Lord Rama. Due to some misunderstanding, the sons of King Sagar attacked a great Sage Kapil and they all died with the burning flames coming out of the eyes of angry sage Kapil. Sages are given great respect in India and insulting and attacking a great sage like Kapil formed a heavy Karmic debt which was going to bother all the coming generations of this family. Knowing this, Anshuman the grandson of King Sagar went to Sage Kapil, asked for his forgiveness and requested him to prescribe a way to relieve the family of this Ancestral debt. It was then told by Sage Kapil that if the holy river Ganga is brought to the earth from the heavens and the ashes of the burnt Princes are offered to holy river Ganga, only then this debt can be cleared. Accordingly, Anshuman worshiped throughout his life to bring Ganga on earth but he did not succeed and the duty was passed on to his son King Dilip who also worshiped throughout his life to bring Ganga to earth to clear the Karmic debts of his forefathers, but King Dilip also did not succeed and the duty was passed on to his son King Bhagirath who also worshiped Lord Shiva very dedicatedly and one day Lord Shiva came to answer his prayers and blessed him with his wish that Ganga would be sent to earth to relieve his family and forefathers of their Karmic debts. And as Lord Shiva blessed Bhagirath, King Bhagirath posed a question to Lord Shiva which goes something like this. “O Great Lord Shiva, I have a question to ask and kindly bless me with the answer to this question. My grandfather Anshuman and my father Dilip worshipped you throughout their lives but you did not answer their prayers whereas you have answered my prayers. Was there any defect in their way of worship or was something else wrong due to which you did not listen to the prayers of my father and my grandfather”. Hearing this Lord Shiva smiled and said, “Insulting and attacking a great sage like Kapil caused a very heavy karmic debt on your family line and all of it needed to be paid in order for me to come and bless a member of your family line with his wish. Your father and grandfather worshipped throughout their lives and were able pay most of this debt but as this debt was not cleared, so I did not come to grant their wish. And as you started worshipping, the Karmic debt has been cleared and after that you have earned the Karmic reward of your wish being granted by keeping on worshipping me and that is why I am here to bless you with your wish”. And after that Maa Ganga was sent to earth to bless the souls of Bhagirath’s forefathers as well as many others.

The moral of the story is that the karmic debt levied on the forefathers of king Bhagirath needed to be cleared before the family line could be blessed again with good fortunes and therefore three generations of his family worshipped the Lord to clear this Karmic debt and earn Karmic rewards which led to the good results like the incarnation of Lord Rama in the same family line which shows that the positive karmic balance of this family line was extremely great because a family line which witnessed the birth of Lord himself was without any doubt the most prestigious Karmic family line of that time.

Coming back to Pitra Dosh, now it should be easy to understand that Pitra Dosh is not the curse of the ancestors as defined by some astrologers, but it is a debt formed as a result of bad deeds done by the ancestors and this debt has to be paid by the present generation either by taking the punishment decided according to that debt or by doing some specific good Karmic deeds which would help paying this debt so that the degree of punishment may be decreased. And after knowing so much about the definition of Pitra Dosh, let’s find out how this dosh is seen present in a horoscope. If the Sun which is an indicator of the Self and the Ancestors, is afflicted by a Malefic planet, a Pitra Dosh is formed in the horoscope and depending upon the afflicting planet, the kinds and results of Pitra Dosh change. For example, the worst kind of Pitra Dosh is formed by the affliction of Rahu and Ketu to the Sun by placement and aspect. And a Pitra Dosh where the Sun and Rahu are placed in the same house and Rahu afflicts the Sun by placement and Ketu afflicts the Sun by direct aspect is a very serious Pitra Dosh and can even prove to be fatal for the native if the afflictions are strong. The affliction to the Sun by a malefic Saturn also forms a serious Pitra Dosh and similarly any malefic planet afflicting the Sun would form a Pitra Dosh which would trouble the native with different results depending upon the afflicting planet, the strength of the afflicting planet and the Sun, the placement of the afflicting planet as well as the Sun and some other factors. Apart from this, a Pitra Dosh is also formed if 9th house of a horoscope which stands for Ancestors among other things is afflicted by a malefic planet and the results would be predicted in the same way as in case of afflictions to the Sun. Afflictions to the Lord of 9th house also form a Pitra Dosh. In the same way if the Moon is afflicted by a malefic planet or planets, a Matru Dosh is formed in the horoscope and the worst Matru Dosh is formed by the placement of Ketu with Moon with the direct aspect of Rahu at the same time.

And now that we know about Pitra Dosh, let’s discuss about its remedies. Like all other defects presents in a horoscope, Pitra Dosh is a very technical Dosh and general remedies are not sufficient for it. It is very important first to identify the planet or planets causing Pitra Dosh and then do the remedies and Poojas for those planets. And for the people who are told that Pitra Dosh is a curse of the ancestors and it can be modified by doing Poojas and charities to pacify and please their ancestors, let me tell you that this remedy is not going to do much good for you because your Ancestors are not cursing you but they are themselves cursed and so you don’t need to pray to them, but you need to pray for them. So in order to relieve yourself and your ancestors of the Pitra Dosh present in your horoscope, identify the planet causing Pitra Dosh in the horoscope and then do specific charities and Poojas to pay the debts of that planet and pacify that planet so that it may reduce the quantum of punishment it is imposing on you.

Making predictions in astrology

It is usual these days people do not have any idea about planets, its effects, nature and its effects, etc.. The reason is that their ATHMA is so much darkened that they are not even aware of the fact that one day we will die and that our body will be burnt out/buried.

People do not have time to even look at their own life. I find that just they bring their horoscopes ( most of the times they are wrong ones), and immediately ask for predictions to what they ask for. This is not the way and people should know that astrologers are not magicians ( though some people do miracles to gain popularity), and the planetary position of the chart alone will give results. It is only interpretation of the same and based on the rules in astrology, predictions are given.

Everyone should keep in mind that no direct results will be possible for a particular problem/s. The basics should be analysed (past karma) and only when they complete the remedial measures, they will get benefits depending on many factors. Not all the people could understand this point and eventually they are not convinced with astrologer.

This happens if the lagna of the person and that of astrologer never matches. hence astrologer while reading the visitors chart should note this point and try to avoid or try to give convincing reasons to them. This has been the major reason for people to get frustration over astrology and lot of disbelief. I have some people who have left asking for predictions and again after some years, they come back and ask. This is not their mistake and it is their Karma.

ATHMA is such a strong one inside the body which ensures the person does acts as per his directions. For e-g if a person is born to a priest of a temple ( here it is assumed that priest is really very honest only), will always have the habit of visiting temples and try to be honest for many births. He visits temples not because he is born to a priest, but because he has been visiting temples and that such habits are strongly embedded in the ATHMA.

ATHMA  is such a powerful weapon for a person and he/she blindly follow the directions unknowingly. ATHMA instructs the mind to do certain acts. The person will very well know that it is illegal/wrong to do etc.., but still he/she does it. Why ? and why at all it should happen?. I have many people asking me, why we are pushed to do such wrong things in life?. Many of the businessman, come to me and say that inspite of working hard and investing all my wealth, my business failed and that I am standing on the streets.

The reason here is,it is the Lagna and Lagna only has to be assessed to find out whether the person can do certain things in life? and whether it will help him to come up?.  An astrologer should be able to see whether the person will listen to him or he will go ahead and do it?, even if it is a failure.

Here astrologers should tell only the truth and that is the duty cast on them. They cannot hide things from them, as astrologers are also human beings and watched by planets and GOD. Therefore, the role of astrologers is so complicated in these days, where people want only wealth and wealth. No one is ready to look into coming out of this birth/death cycle.
