With the waxing Moon moving into Scorpio our focus is more inwards and we are descending into our private inner world. The mood turns more somber and intense. Scorpio tends to extremes. The world is often perceived as black or white, good or bad and the emotional pendulum might swing fast from one side to the other.

The Moon is our Emotional Gauge

Watching the Moon making her way through the zodiac every month visiting all the signs, can sharpen our self perception and awareness for our inner processes and the fickle nature of our emotions.

One of my spiritual teachers Ananda Giri once said that if there was a way to measure spiritual advancement it would be the level of happiness one is experiencing. The Dalai Lama talked about the Art of Happiness in the book by the same name. Abraham Hicks is talking about the 3 steps to fulfilling our dreams and joy as the goal in life, because it is gauging where we are in our alignment with the non physical world.

I have been brought up as a good German girl with the following proverb which goes something like this; first the work then the joy. And I have been following that for most of my life. The problem with a life lived that way is that there was always so much to do, that I never got to the joy so it seemed.

Joy as a Spiritual Practice

Now I am in a place in my life, after many beautiful, spiritual awakening experiences where I make the awareness of my inner level of joy a priority in my life. I sense myself throughout the day, centering myself through conscious breathing, taking time for moments of emptiness and meditation. I still feel the impulse to move away from so called bad feelings, but it seems my willingness to be and feel wherever I am has established itself on a deeper level.

When you had the experience of fully experiencing what is, it seems to get easier from there. I am more compassionate and patient these days with myself. But then I move on! I use my thoughts to focus consciously towards where I want to go and keep the energy flowing that way as the Law of Attraction teaches.

Lunar Astrology
I am using the Lunar astrology to sharpen my awareness towards my emotions. Every 2, 5 days the Moon moves into a new sign. It is the fastest planet we keep track of in astrology. There is this subtle rhythm between the inner and the outer world. Each sign adds a new flavor and deeper perspective. With Moon in Scorpio be aware how you might become fanatic and driven in your activities. Be conscious of your need to control people and situations to feel safe and in power. Let go of your perfectionism and ask yourself if it really makes a difference in the bigger picture of your life?

Mars Enters Cancer

Mars is the warrior ruling the fiery sign of Aries and secondary Scorpio. When Mars is visiting the water sign Cancer, he is not a happy camper. His fire might get extinguished or he produces lots of steam. That could mean for us that we get easily upset, irritated or have feelings of anger and impatiens.

My advice; feel your feelings (that will already give you some detachment and distance) and do not take yourself too serious. Remember also this will pass!

Mercury into Libra with a Square to Mars

And then we will have a more diplomatic mindset available to us with Mercury in the social and harmony seeking Libra on Tuesday which might temper any going overboard the next day. Yet with the square to Mars and the Mercury Pluto square on Wednesday we might be facing criticism, anger and suspicion. Be conscious how words can be very hurtful and may even leave permanent scars if they are spoken from a place of angry reactivity and you are projecting your own perception as the ultimate truth onto the world or others.

The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran (17)

This is the 17th article of the series:” The Sons of the Lord God in Bible versus Quran”.

In the Bible, Paul affirms the Faith in the Son of God by saying that Jesus is the son of God and he is the owner of everything; he is the lord of all.  The Noble Quran says that Jesus is but a Messenger and it is an unforgivable sin when you say or believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or sons; this major sin will lead to the Eternal Fire in the Hereafter.

——————————————————————–

The Sons of the Lord God in the Bible (17)

In the Bible (Galatians 4:1-7), Paul says

What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.  He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.  But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.  Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

——————————————–

Galatians 4:1-7 in four different versions of the Bible:

New International Version

1What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate.

2He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.

3So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.

4But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,

5to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.

6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”

7So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

American Standard Version

1 But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he differeth nothing from a bondservant though he is lord of all;

2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed of the father.

3 So we also, when we were children, were held in bondage under the rudiments of the world:

4 but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

5 that he might redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6 And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7 So that thou art no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

English Standard Version

1I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything,

2but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father.

3In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world.

4But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

7So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

King James Version

1Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

4But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

The Sons of the Lord God in the Quran (17)

The Noble Quran makes the topic of the son(s) of God very clear and says that Allah, the Almighty Creator, has neither a son nor a partner.

In addition, The Quran makes the signs that Jesus was not god very understandable.

The Historical background of the verse 4:172:

The top Christians priests of Najran (the south of Saudi Arabia) went to the Prophet Muhammad and said: ‘O Muhammad, why do you insult our lord?’

Muhammad said: ‘And who is your lord?’

They said: ‘It is Jesus’.

Muhammad: ‘Why, what do I say about him?’ he asked.

They said: ‘You say he is the salve and messenger of Allah!’

Muhammad said to them: ‘It is not shameful for Jesus to be a slave of Allah’.

But they said: ‘It is shameful’,

And then the verse 4:172 (The Messiah, Jesus will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah) was revealed”.

It should be emphasized that it is unforgivable sin to say or to believe that the One Almighty Creator [who is Allah or God or the Lord or Jehovah or whatever name(s) you are giving Him] has a son or Sons.

From the Islamic point of view, the conclusion of this fundamental topic that may establish or destroy one’s faith is that:

Any one who believe that the Almighty Creator has a son or Sons; he messes up his faith and is considered as a disbeliever and in the afterlife he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Hell.

Any one who believes that the Almighty Creator has neither a son nor a partner, he has a good faith and is considered as a believer; and in the afterlife, he will end up as an eternal inhabitant of the Eternal Paradise.

Verses 4:172-173 make the topic of the son(s) of God plain, clear and understandable.

The meanings of verses 4:172-173:

Verse 4:172

The Historical background of the verse:

The top Christians priests of Najran (the south of Saudi Arabia) went to the Prophet Muhammad and said: ‘O Muhammad, why do you insult our lord?’

Muhammad said: ‘And who is your lord?’

They said: ‘It is Jesus’.

Muhammad said: ‘Why, what do I say about him?’ he asked.

They said: ‘You say he is the salve and messenger of Allah!’

Muhammad said to them: ‘It is not shameful for Jesus to be a slave of Allah’.

But they said: ‘It is shameful’,

And then the verse 4:172 (The Messiah will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah) was revealed”.

The meanings of verse 4:172

Jesus, the Messiah, whom you claim is a god or son of God, would never disdain, or scorn or reject haughtily, to be a servant of God, neither would the angels who are nigh, to God, disdain to be Allah’ servants.

this is a splendid digression [to the matter of the angels], and it is mentioned as a refutation of those who claim that the angels are gods or the daughters of God, just as He refuted, with what was stated before, the Christians who claim that which is the subject of the address to them [above]. Whoever disdains to worship Him, and waxes proud, He will assuredly muster all of them to Him in the Hereafter.

In other words, the verse says that Jesus will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah) he will never deny his servitude to Allah.

This was revealed in respect of the top Christians priests of Najran saying to the Prophet: “O Muhammad, what you say of Jesus is shameful”. Allah said to them: it is not shameful that Jesus is Allah’ servant, nor would the favored angels ever not acknowledge that they are servants of Allah. Whoever scorns to acknowledge that being his servant (and is proud) is too proud to believe in Allah, (all such) believers and unbelievers will Allah assemble unto Him on the Day of Judgment.

The meanings of verse 4:173

As for those who believed in Allah, Muhammad and the Quran and did righteous deeds, that are acts of obedience in that which is between them and their Lord, Allah will pay them in full their wages, the reward for faith and deeds, and He will give them more of His bounty, what no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no man’s heart has ever wished for.

And as for them who disdain and are too proud to believe in Allah Muhammad and the Quran, Allah will chastise them with a painful chastisement, which is the chastisement of the Eternal Fire, and they shall not find for themselves, besides God, that is, other than Him, any friend, to ward it off them, or helper, to protect them from it.

In other words, Allah will punish them with a painful doom; and they will not find for them, against Allah, any protecting friend, any relative to benefit them or helper to save them from Allah’s punishment.

===============================

Verses 4:172-173 of the Noble Quran in four different translations:

Verse 4:172

QARIB: the messiah would not despise being a worshiper of Allah, nor would the angels who are near. whosoever despises worshipping him, and becomes proud, he will surely assemble them all to him.

SHAKIR: the messiah does by no means disdain that he should be a servant of Allah, nor do the angels who are near to him, and whoever disdains his service and is proud, he will gather them all together to himself

PICKTHAL: the messiah will never scorn to be a slave unto Allah, nor will the favoured angels. whoso scorneth his service and is proud, all such will he assemble unto him;

YUSUFALI: christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah): those who disdain his worship and are arrogant,-he will gather them all together unto himself to (answer).

Verse 4:173

QARIB: as for those who believe and did good deeds, he will pay them in full their wages, and he will increase them from his bounty. as for those who despise and became proud, he will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will find neither a guide nor a helper for themselves, other than Allah.

SHAKIR: then as for those who believe and do good, he will pay them fully their rewards and give them more out of his grace; and as for those who disdain and are proud, he will chastise them with a painful chastisement. and they shall not find for themselves besides Allah a guardian or a helper

PICKTHAL: then, as for those who believed and did good works, unto them will he pay their wages in full, adding unto them of his bounty; and as for those who were scornful and proud, them will he punish with a painful doom. and they will not find for them, against Allah, any protecting friend or helper.

YUSUFALI: but to those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, he will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of his bounty: but those who are disdainful and arrogant, he will punish with a grievous penalty; nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.

Mars is our warrior spirit! Mars stands for our life force energy and how we are able to apply ourselves in our life. In whatever sign and house the Mars is in your horoscope as well how he is connected with the other inner planets will give you a pretty good idea and guidance towards understanding your energy flow and your health.

Mars is a pretty forward guy! You give him a goal and he is moving towards it like the arrow released from the bow. In the practice of Zen archery it is the most important part to become one with the aim and for that you need to know your aim. For Mars to be truly the successful warrior spirit for you, you need to give him his direction to go. You are the super brain and he is the muscle.

The Trine between the Mars and Neptune

This is a perfect harmonious energy flowing connection between Mars and Neptune. Neptune, the visionary and dreamer is fueling the actions of Mars and widens the possibilities. If we clearly know why we want to go somewhere, the how will take care by itself in a step to step way. Keep your aim in mind, feel how it will be to have reached your goal and those feelings will keep you aligned with the flow going there.

Mars Square to Uranus and Sun Quincunx Uranus
These aspects with Mars, Sun and Uranus are of different and very challenging matter. Uranus can rock our world on Tuesday. These aspects could show us a tendency to be more prone to accidents then usual. Running into edges and table corners, the energy is so much faster then the body can keep up with it. The general energy flow is highly charged, explosive, might change abruptly in direction and make us impatient or rude.

To find a good way to channel those unruly energies is to find another way of using them up. The classic Uranus sport is flying, jumping out of the heavens with a parachute or a bungee, paragliding; all things you might not feel inclined to do.

But you could try to find a new way of expressing your energy flow through exercising. You know exercising is a good thing and you need to make time for it!!

Try out something new (Uranus) and different from what you usually do. Take the aim that for a whole week you will be trying out a new gym facility or take walks every day, or go swimming, or take a lesson in fencing or riding. Be creative and push your envelope and you will have a lot of fun with channeling this otherwise challenging energy combination.

Moon into Leo
The Moon in Leo is carrying us with optimism and good spirits. We feel we can do what we want to do and find ample opportunities to let our creativity flow into our real life ventures. Leo people are very confident and usually don’t suffer under deficiency or self-doubts. We can borrow a little from their confident spirit with this Moon position for these two days.

This is a good time to take that step forward and risking yourself a little more, beyond your usual self perception and self-image.

Moon in Houses

Moon is a royal planet and is the queen in astrology. It is also called Sasi, Sasanka, Somah, Nisakara, Sitamsu. Moon represents the mind, emotions, sensitivity, the mother, house and domestic comforts, milk, sea and all things connected with the sea, hotel and food industry, textiles and apparels. Its cold and calm, Its color is white, direction north-east, metal is silver and gem is pearl. The moon is the fastest moving of the 9 planets and takes approximately 2-1/2 days to travel a sign. When the sun and moon are in the same rasi it is called Amavasya or new moon day or the 1st day of the dark fortnight. The lunar days or Tithi changes with every 12 degree difference between the sun and the moon. When the sun and the moon are in the exact opposite signs or 180 degrees apart, it is called Poornima or the full moon day or the 1st day of the bright fortnight. He is the Matrukaraka or planet connected with mother.

Where the Moon is placed in ones horoscope has a very significant impact on ones life. The following are the results of Moon placed in the 12 houses from Lagna.

Moon in the 1st House
1. Moon symbolises beauty. Its placement in the ascendant makes the person very handsome in appearance.
2. Moon is always waning and waxing and represents mind. The mind of the native will therefore be somewhat unsteady.
3. Moon is a watery planet. The native will therefore like watery places.
4. When the Moon is in Aries in the ascendant, she will be lord of the 4th in the 1st. When it is in Taurus she will be exalted as lord of the 3rd in the 1st. When the Moon is in Cancer she will be in her own sign, in the Ascendant. So the results are that he will be versed in shastras, wealthy, happy, a king. He will be soft spoken, will be of strong body but not intelligent.
5. In Libra and Pisces in the Ascendant will also be good because she will be in the ascendant as lord of the 9th, the 10th and the 5th respectively.
6. If the Moon is aspected by a benefic the native will be powerful, intelligent, wealthy etc.

Moon in the 2nd House
1. Moon is also significator of face. The Moon in the first as well as in the second house gives the native a handsome appearance.
2. If a benefic Moon in the second (preferably in Aries, Taurus or Cancer) will help the native to achieve in his young age a distinct professional achievement by the favour of the King and Government.
3. The second house is house of wealth (Dhanabhava) and educational achievements also fall within the sphere of the second house. If the Moon in the second house is under benefic influence, or if there is a full Moon alone in the second house, he will be highly educated and wealthy. In this connection it should be noted that full Moon is rated as a first class benefic.

Moon in the 3rd House

1. The placement of the Moon in the third house is not favourable in the matter of finance as Moon, the natural 4th house lord will be going to the 12 from the 4th.
2. Backbiting nature because of above as 3rd is the house of communication.
3. 3rd is connected with joints & watery planet moon can cause rheumatic troubles
4. The signification brothers and sisters are not damaged by the presence of the Moon in the third house as the 2nd from the 3rd is coming to the 3rd.
5. Having negligible agricultural production, payment of penalties to Government and loss of cattle wealth are all results of being unfortunate as it is opposite to the 9th house.

Moon in the 4th House

1. The fourth house signifies amongst other things, mother, milk, agricultural land, conveyances etc.
2. The Moon will cause the native to achieve king like status because from the 4th house, she will be aspecting the 10th house but for this it must be essential for the Moon to be very strong and beneficial. This can be possible when the Moon is full or is in Cancer or lord of the 5th (Pisces Ascendant), 9th (Scorpio Ascendant) or 10th (Libra Ascendant). Other good results ascribed to the Moon will accrue if the Moon is disposed as mentioned above.
3. The mother will be sickly or the native will be brought up on the breast milk of women other than the mother because Moon as the Karaka of the 4th house causes a dosha called KARAKO BHAVA NASYA.
4. He will be over romantic by nature.
5. He will conduct business across the rivers or oceans as moon is a watery planet.

Moon in the 5th House
6. ‘Mantra Siddhi’ is one of the important significations of the 5th house. A beneficial Moon in the 5th enables the native to get the blessings and pleasure of the female deities – DEVI – by sincere and devoted worship.
7. Being ninth to the ninth house the 5th house is also a house of Dharma and Bhagya. This house also signifies riches etc. Therefore with the beneficial influence of the Moon, the native will become very prosperous in all respects and will be able to keep two wives. Benefic influence of the Moon can therefore make the native a Rajyogi. Moon is a female and fruitful planet.
8. The wife will be beautiful because the Moon is a planet who symbolises beauty and placed in the 11th from the 7th. She will be quick tempered as the 5th is owned by Sun in the natural zodiac.
10. Female planet Moon in 5th house, house of children, naturally gives more female issues than male issues.
Moon in the 6th House
11. The Moon if posited in the sixth will lose all her good significations and the evil effects will be aggravated if the Moon comes under malefic influences.
12. The native will indulge in sinful and immoral deeds because the ‘sattvic’ qualities of the planet will be destroyed in the malefic sixth house.
13. The Moon is a watery planet, therefore under malefic influences watery places will become a source of danger for the native.
14. If the Moon in the sixth is under benefic influences the native will enjoy good health as 6th is the house of health.

6. If the Moon is exalted or is in her own house the native will be long lived. This is because the 8th house being house of longevity a strong Moon (she will be lord of 8th in 8th if she is in her own sign), will give a long life to the native. Life will be shortened if the Moon is weak and quantum of shortening life will be in proportion to the weakness of the Moon.

5. If the Moon is in his own sign in the ninth, the lord of ninth will be in the ninth giving rise to a powerful Rajayoga conferring great name, fame and prosperity to the native. If the Moon is in Taurus (then the ascendant will be Virgo) she will be exalted in the ninth as lord of the eleventh house (house of gains) and this disposition will be highly beneficial to the native in every respect.

5.If the Moon is in her own sign Cancer (the ascendant will then be Libra), the Lord of the tenth will be in the tenth house, giving rise to a powerful Rajayoga conferring great name, fame and honour upon the native.

Moon in the 11th House
