One of the things I love about Astrology is that it teaches me how I am an intrinsic part of the whole universe! I love to watch those science research films about the universe and how all is mysteriously interconnected. It touches something in me where I feel deeply in awe of the universal, divine intelligence at work!
The most basic governing principles of the entire universe—and certainly of astrology—are that everything consists of energy and that it is all interconnected. From the tiniest subatomic particle to the largest star systems, all of the matter and energy in the universe belongs to one immense web of existence.
Every part of that Web is Essential to the Whole
You could compare the universe to an ecosystem on earth: if you add or subtract a plant or animal, such as by altering the climate, eventually the entire ecosystem is affected. Or think of an atom: remove just one infinitesimal proton from an atom, and you have an entirely different substance. If hydrogen were changed to helium, the entire known universe would be profoundly changed. Everything is held in a delicate and exquisitely beautiful balance.
The principle of interrelatedness means that although you are only one of billions upon billions of energy beings in the universe, you are far from insignificant! The universe cannot do without you! If you were not here tomorrow, the echoes of your absence would reverberate out across the universe. Those closest to you would suffer your loss immediately. Your loved ones, coworkers, and the people you serve in your work are connected to dozens of other people, and they are in turn connected to hundreds, to thousands of others. This is not to mention your relationship to animals, to the natural environment, and so on.
Astrology Offers a Deeper Self-Recognition
Since earliest times humans were interested in the stars and watching their nightly journey through the skies. Astrology offers us specific perspective in perceiving governing universal principles and become aware at how they weave through us. Astrology’s gift is in giving us deeper awareness and self-reflection.
Monitoring the Moon in all its stations throughout each month can be extremely helpful in understanding the ebb and flow of our internal emotional tides.
Moon Moves into Aries: the Initiator & Warrior
Aries is a sign full of energy and life force! Its ruling Planet is Mars – the warrior god of the Romans. Aries is considered a masculine fire sign.
Aries begins at the Spring Equinox, the point when the Earth enters into a period of longer days and shorter nights. Aries is a powerful symbol of new beginnings, energy, light, and creativity. People born under the sign of Aries may well turn out to be great leaders—if they can keep their aggression and tendency to dominate others in check. Aries must always be undertaking new projects, especially creative endeavors, to keep their high energy occupied. They are extroverts and tend toward impulsivity. Their challenge is to properly channel their energy.
Strong Emotions
With the Moon in this sign we will feel strong and spontaneous emotions! There is an immediacy and intensity in the air. We might feel impatient and easily irritated. If somebody crosses you there will be immediate reaction or even retaliation.
My suggestion: Don’t take your feelings as written in stone! You can always choose to focus on something different in your mind and that will change your feelings. I am not talking about denying your feelings! You always have to start from where you are by fully experiencing your feelings. But then you don’t have to dwell on them. Let them go by focusing onto something else! Or as the masters of the “Law of Attractions” puts it:
“When you reach for the thought that feels better, the Universe is now responding differently to you because of that effort. And so, the things that follow you get better and better, too. So it gets easier to reach for the thought that feels better, because you are on ever-increasing, improving platforms that feel better.” — Abraham-Hicks
Mercury Conjunction Sun in Cancer
Mercury is one of the inner planets (the others are Venus and Mars) which represent different inner parts of our psychological make-up and ego structure. These inner planets can help to shed light onto our inner needs, feelings and qualities. That understanding will guide us towards a healthy ego and authentic self and accepting ourselves for who we are.
In Roman mythology Mercury, the god of commerce, travel, and thieves, carried messages among the gods, and thus Mercury is strongly associated with everything involving communication—speaking writing, the media, even our internal communication.
Mercury rules all things related to the mind and our internal life: rational thinking, intellect, intelligence, curiosity, learning, and memory.
Because of his mental approach to life Mercury might bring some level of introspection into the inner world of the Cancerian feelings. But mental objectivity will be emotionally impaired by Mercury’s position in Cancer and in conjunction with the Sun. We will tend to see things from a very ego oriented and emotional point of view.
Bring more Clarity into Your Thoughts through Journaling
A wonderful tool to gain more clarity and inquire into deeper layers of your being is indeed journaling. Tony Robbins often points out in his seminars: “A life well lived, is a life worth recording.”
I invite you to do an experiment and start writing some “morning pages” of at least 3 pages in a journal; you will be surprised of your own thoughts when you will be able to go back and read them later.

Want to know what the future holds? A psychic reading is a method used in an attempt to see the future of an individual, or a group of people. Wondering if you’ll find true love? Will you ever get that promotion at work? A psychic reading may be for you!
First, let’s take a look at the different methods used in extra-sensory or psychic readings. A professional psychic may employ many different tools during a psychic reading, or they may need none at all! It can be done in person, or even over a long-distance. The type of reading you have will depend on your expected outcome. A few different types of psychic readings may include: a palm, tarot card, aura, rune, or psychometry reading. Astrology and numerology are sometimes considered psychic readings because they too are performed with the intention of predicting the future, but along with palm, rune and tarot card reading, they can be learned and do not require a psychic ability.
Looking for your long-lost brother? You will need a psychometry reading. A psychometry reading is one in which the psychic uses post cognition, or a transfer of information from an object or person, to discover an event from the past. Typically the object needs to be something that was meaningful to the person, such as a favorite piece of jewelry, a book or other trinket. The idea is that part of the energy from the person who possesses the item is transferred to the object, and can then be detected by the psychic. This energy may give important clues and help to put the pieces of a puzzle together. Such is the case, it is typically used to locate a missing person, or to help figure out a murder case.
Another type of psychic reading is an aura reading. Aura readers are able to see the aura that each person holds, in the form of colorful lines that emanate from the surface of their bodies. Each person’s aura is unique to them, and can differ in color, shape, size and intensity. An aura reader is able to interpret an individual’s aura and can tell what this person is feeling and thinking without any words. A bright and clean aura is said to be that of a spiritual or well-intentioned person, while a gray or dull aura is that of someone who is unsure, and may even be dishonest. An aura reader may even be able to detect a malfunction or disease in your body by reading your aura!
While palm, tarot card, rune reading, astrology and numerology do not require psychic abilities; they are still used in psychic readings. These are all skills that are learned, some of which have been around since ancient times! Astrology, for example, predates many of today’s scientific methods of astral study. A rune reading is the divination of stones or tiles on which the runic alphabet is written or carved. The runic alphabet is said to date back to 150 AD! Usually when you think of a card reading, tarot comes to mind, but actually cartomancy is any fortune telling or divination using a deck of cards. The practice of tarot card reading became popular in around the 18th or 19th century!
No matter the method you choose, a psychic reading can be a fascinating and informative experience for an individual. Remember to keep an open mind and enjoy it!

Mars is the Roman God of War in Mythology
The actual red color of the planet represents the bloodshed of war. This is an aggressive masculine planet indeed, a true warrior in all matters involving the life force, will, and courage.
The personality of Mars is highly energetic, strong, sexual, and confident—qualities that are especially associated with aggressive sports and other competitive activities. In all life areas Mars is the initiator, warrior and conqueror who goes about achieving his goals with single-minded determination.
In the old astrology before Pluto was assigned to the 8th House; Mars ruled Aries and the 1st House (Personality & Self-Expression) as well as Scorpio and the 8th House (Death and Regeneration). In the body Mars rules the genitals, adrenal glands, gallbladder, and muscles.
Mars also Represents your Life Force Energy
Depending in which sign Mars is located in your chart; you will be able to understand how your energy flows, what the obstacles are and what you should consider relating to your self-expression.
The level and specifics of your life force energy are significant to your ability to achieve your goals in life. Your state of health is directly related to it as well.
For example in my chart Mars is in Cancer; a water sign which is not considered a very strong or good position for Mars. As a result of that I had to struggle all my life with having not the energy available I would like to have. For some years I had to deal with chronic fatigue and always had health issues of some kind. I had to learn over time to be more conserving and conservative with my energy and plan my day and life accordingly to it.
Mars Enters Gemini
Mars moving into Gemini will set the overall tone and general impact for all of us. But even more interesting is to determine how it will influence you more specifically as an individual. For that you need to look into your individual birth chart.
The transiting Mars is moving around the Sun, through the zodiac in 687 days and will be activating different signs, houses and planets at different times in your horoscope and in your life.
Today we will just have a look at the overall implications of Mars in Gemini. But you will be able to use that information for your personal chart as well. These are the specific qualities of Gemini:
Gemini: Inspired Communicator and Curious Butterfly
May 21–June 21
Ruling Planet: Mercury
Element: Air
Gender: Masculine
Geminis have great minds! They are fast learners and interested in a great variety of topics, so they accumulate a large store of knowledge. Additionally, the have the ability to communicate their knowledge very well and make great conversationalists. They need the stimulation of moving like a butterfly from one thing that catches their interest to the next. This gives them flexibility—they don’t get stuck for long in one place and are always ready for a new challenge. A drawback of their fascination with details is that they might miss the bigger picture. They excel in all fields involving the written or spoken word.
An Energetic Mars is Entering the Restless Gemini
You could say that with energetic Mars entering restless Gemini there will be lots of mental activity going on, but also a potential for more flexibility in our actions and more openness to try on new ideas and methods. But we can also get easily distracted and scattered in the expression of our energy flow.
In general this is an excellent time for expanding your mental horizon, learning new things, opening up to new ideas, studying to learn new skills, polishing up on your writing or speaking abilities or meeting new people. You may start new projects of any kind. You could sign up for some social networking sites and explore the instantaneous connectedness with like minded people all over the world. You can start organizing your thoughts and ideas by journaling regularly. The list is endless!
Venus is already in Gemini for some Days
Venus has been moving into the light hearted Gemini at July 5th. It brought in some uplifting of our mood and a more adventures spirit in meeting new people or friends. Venus, the Goddess of love and harmony smoothes the path to connecting and communicating with more ease and a lighter spirit. Venus will be in Gemini till August 1st which means we will have some time to adjust to that flow and use it to our advantage. You can read more about Venus in Gemini in an earlier post on my blog if you like.(jewelryandgemsforselfdiscovery.com/blog/?p=565)
Get inspired and enjoy the ride to new horizons which is a very joyful journey!

After being stirred up a little and opened for new possibilities with the Moon in Aquarius the last two days we are now swimming on into new waters.
The Pisces Moon is the most sensitive position it can have in the zodiac. It is presenting us with a chance to turn inwards, to dream and fantasize, floating along with inner nudges and connect with the divine.
Moon is our emotional filter towards the world and how we might perceive people around us. With Moon in Pisces there is the chance to tap into higher states of consciousness through meditation and contemplation which are keywords for Pisces.
Pisces: The Wise and Mystical Servant (Feb 20–March 20) is ruled by Neptune. Water is attributed to Pisces and it is considered a feminine sign.
By the end of the astrological year, all that has been learned in the previous months is integrated in Pisces. The gentle and sensitive Pisceans see life through a spiritual framework based on a deep sense of connection with others and with the entire universe. This gives them the gift of love, compassion, and empathy for others and they may choose careers in medicine, psychology, or spiritual work. They seek a higher consciousness, beyond the physical world. This is not a practical, earth-bound sign: Pisceans live in a mental world of dreams and fantasies that are expressed in artistic and spiritual ways. Of all the signs, they are the least invested in their own egos. They are not interested in winning conflicts and will avoid confrontation whenever possible.
Time for Yourself
Today is a good day to take some time for yourself and allow that inner connection with the divine and that feeling of connectedness with the whole take place. The best way I know how to do that is to just sit and meditate and let your mind settle down. In that quiet inner place you can become aware of thoughts moving through and feelings surfacing.
Moon in Pisces wants us to raise our consciousness to the level of unconditional love and experience the oneness with all that is.
When we experience love and that deep human connection with others we are in an exalted state of consciousness which feels wonderful, satisfying and joyous. This is our birthright! This is what we all want and need to be truly happy. If we don’t manage to find that experience of love in our life; we can feel disconnected, maybe even depressed or in fear. Then the world out there appears as a dark and frightening place!
Jupiter & Neptune Conjunction in Aquarius is in an Exact Conjunction
Jupiter as well as Neptune is ruling the 12th house and Pisces. Jupiter’s search for meaning and Neptune’s transcending of the concrete in favor of the non-physical fit very well together!
They can help us to gain spiritual awareness and deepen our faith.
Or if we don’t take the time to allow that to happen we might feel confusion and get lost in illusions and projections of our mind.
Neptune and Jupiter will be moving on into Pisces pretty soon, because they are already at 26 degrees Aquarius. The Moon in Pisces introduces us and helps to prepare for the limitless inner sky of the potential of waking up to a higher reality behind the physical world.
Mercury Semi-square Mars
Mercury is in Cancer and Mars is still in Taurus. The semi-square has the potential to stir up feelings and thoughts of irritation, anger and impatience. Just watch yourself and don’t take yourself too serious! You can channel these energies to propel you into right action and gain more awareness of your inner dynamics and thought patterns.
Meditate with Crystals or Gemstones
There are many ways to meditate and still your active mind. Because I am a gemstone lover I like to introduce you to use quartz crystals and gemstones to help you to align your energies into a place of balance and peace.
The most well known way for meditation with gemstones is to lie down and place one or several stones onto your body or around it. Crystals are wonderful to place on your third eye, (between your eye brows) or anywhere on your body where you want to discharge negative energy or blockages and bring in the power of healing light. You will feel fresh and renewed afterwards.
Because of the perfect crystal structure and alignment of the crystals they have the unique gift helping us with deepening our meditation and relaxing the mind. If you want to find out more about meditation with healing gemstones go to my website http://www.JewelryandGemsforSelfdiscovery.com where you can find more articles and information about that subject in my book Jewelry and Gems for Self-Discovery: Choosing Gemstones that Delight the Eyes & Strengthen the Soul.
You can also visit me my Astrological Signs Weather Report & Healing Gems Blog where I discuss the actual universal, astrological forces and inspire you to use them wisely for a successful and joyful life. Healing gemstones are suggested as tools to balance and come into alignment with the cosmic flow and of course can be used to create custom designed soul jewelry as well.
I hope I have interested you to engage in some form of meditation to nourish your soul and get a taste of it which might inspire you to make it a regular practice. You will receive many benefits from. I would love to hear back from your about your experiences and wish you a wonderful journey.
Aloha and many blessings, Shakti.
