“Wandering Stars”

Seen from the Earth the planets may appear tiny and insignificant. And yet humans have always been fascinated by these bodies that appear as points of light in the night sky, and wondered about their movement through the heavens. The ancient Greeks noticed that some lights in the sky stayed in the same place in relation to each other—those are the stars in the constellations—while others moved around the sky in the course of the year. The Greeks called these moving lights asteres planetes, or “wandering stars.”

A planet is a celestial body that orbits a star and is large enough to have its own gravity. It was only in the 17th century that Galileo determined that Earth is part of a system of planets that revolve around our Sun. Ours is not the only solar system—at least 70 systems of planets revolving around stars have been discovered just in our own galaxy. Scientists believe there are more than 100 billion galaxies in the universe!

As currently defined by scientists, there are eight planets in our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Ceres and Pluto, which are important in astrology, are considered dwarf planets. There are other small heavenly bodies, such as Chiron, that have an important role in astrology.

Everything Is Part of the Universal Energy Field

The most remote true planet in our solar system is Neptune, which is 2.68 billion miles from Earth. How can something that is so far away have an effect on life here on Earth? It is because all things in the universe are part of one and the same energy field. Events in one part of the universe radiate outward and eventually their energy reaches the far corners of the universe. Nothing is independent of this web of energy.

Again and again in astrology you will be reminded of the interrelation among all things in the universe. Everything in the universe—including human beings—consists of energy, and energy fields interact with one another.

“As Above, So Below”

Astrology also teaches that events, patterns, and relationships are repeated throughout the universe, from the macrocosm to the microcosm. It is easy to see the similarity between electrons swirling around the nucleus of an atom, and planets revolving around the sun. Both are energy systems held together by attractions among the elements of the system.

This relation between the macrocosm and the microcosm is expressed as “As above, so below.” In modern astrology the movements of the planets and the relations among them are used as analogies to understand life on Earth.

The Planets in Antiquity

The planets played an important role in early mythology and religion and were thought to be divine beings. The names of the planets (except for Earth, which was not understood as a planet by the ancients) come from Greek and Roman mythology. The Greeks, Romans, and later cultures associated each planet with a specific god. For example, the planet Venus is associated with the Roman goddess Venus, corresponding to the Greek goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. That ancient association with the deities heavily influences the interpretation of the planet Venus in modern astrology.

The Planets in Modern Astrology

Astrology is derived from ancient knowledge and beliefs, but it has evolved over time as our understanding of the universe and of life has evolved. The modern understanding of the influence of the planets relates to how we conceptualize the human psyche, as consisting of basic drives and impulses. Those aspects of the psyche or personality are influenced by the characteristics of each planet and also by the movement of the planets through the 12 signs and houses (spheres of life) during the astrological year.

The planets relate to each other as part of the same great energy system (the solar system). As they change their position, the angles they form in relation to each other change. Those angles are called aspects. The aspect between two planets changes how each body’s energy is manifested.

The Celestial Drama

It should come as no surprise that some people’s lives—perhaps your own?—are full of drama. Photos taken by the Hubble telescope reveal that the cosmos is full of drama—whirling galaxies racing through space at thousands of miles an hour and sometimes even colliding, exploding stars, planets racing around their stars. Remember: “As above, so below.” There is a relation between the cosmic drama and beauty, and the drama and beauty of our lives.

Their stage is constantly turning, so that from where you are seated in the audience, each month you see one play ending and another beginning as the year moves through the twelve signs of the zodiac. I am setting the stage by making these early predictions for the next presidential election in 2012. For anyone who would dare to dispute my assertions, please send me a quarter once my predictions become real and I am vindicated. It’s all about Hillary by default!

It’s sometimes between May and July 2012. Campaigning is at full swing. There are speculation all over about this and that. The President of the United States, Barack Obama is seeking a second term in office, however; the rumor mill is swinging. Rumors leaked directly from the Vice President Joe Biden’s office intended to test the reaction of the American People.

Rumors that the Vice President of the United States is withdrawing his name from further consideration on the ticket which, according to the experts; is certain to win re-election in a landslide against the party of “NO”. 

How can this be? What is the problem or what could be the problem? The economy is sound. Banks are doing well by lending and financing small businesses again. Wall Street is on a streak of sound investments and investors are dancing in the street. War – what war? The Nation has moved on from the debacle of 2000-2008 and prosperity is in the land. The Taliban has surrendered and the remnants were driven out of Afghanistan by locals. Iran has recognized the right of the Israelis to live in perfect harmony with their neighbors and ambassadors were exchanged between North Korea and South Korea. Cuba is no longer a pariah. Blacks are getting along with Whites and all things being equal, Whites are reciprocating and extending an olive branch to our amigos from South of the Border. It’s time to get along. The Barackometer is now at its highest point.  

Amidst all this, why is Vice President Biden not in the race for re-election? The last time, perhaps the only time in U.S history a sitting Vice President refused to run, it was because he and his under-study president had destroyed the goodwill towards all men and took peace for granted. So, the heir apparent to the throne in 2008 could not bring himself to running for the same land he had pillaged for 8 years. No, he couldn’t face over 300 million Americans and ask for another four years of rubbish-filled leadership. He disappeared to his usual undisclosed location. Now, Vice President Biden is bowing out. This is an oxy. It should not happen this way. He must be excited to run on the records of Obama-Biden for the next four years. Vice President Biden must be mistaken!

While accepting Mr. Biden’s resignation, the President responded with praise and understanding of his desire to withdraw from the upcoming election. President Obama in his speech informed the nation that he accepted Mr. Biden’s withdrawal with great understanding and expressed his thanks and gratitude for a magnificent four years. To the chagrined of those present, the President never took a single question from reporters but offered another news conference in the next few days. A week later, at a weekly briefing, the president appears unannounced inside the Rose Garden to nominate the Nations New Vice President. Any surprise here? Ladies and Gentlemen, it is with great excitement that I nominate Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton as my Vice President for upcoming election……To Be Continued

Because of your constant indecision and instability (inconstancy), you often end up misinterpreting the events thereby causing you to feel abandoned, afraid, unsure, abused and grossly misunderstood. MODE OF Cosmic Therapy: Opening The Door To the Magic Esoteric Vault of ‘20′

Twenty is a sacredly secret number and must be revered as such. Not that all numbers are not as sacred but today we are specifically dealing with the number 20. Think about it. In the beginning was and is still the ineffable 0 (which encompasses all). When the 0 pushed forward in a process of thrusting movement, the 1 appeared. In order for the 1 to be able to see it self in movement, a refection was necessary: enter the digit 2. Somewhere before and after the 0 and in the presence of the 2 the 1 is engulfed. The 2 reflects the 1 while the 0 projects and encases. Directly in front of the 0 stands the number 2. In between 0 and 2 are infinite possibilities. (Too much numeric esoteric deciphering information?) Not at all.

You are intrinsically fashioned to respond to the number 20. Although completely oblivious to it, the number 20 has a profound affect on you and everyone else around you. Without the number of 20, you would be unaware of your individual existence. You move, breathe and have your being in the zero but are reflected, established and maintained in the 2. (Combination of 2+0)= 20. I want to specifically bring your conscious awareness to the number 20. From this day forth, begin to notice how many times the number shows up in your face.

Cycles naturally run in a series of 20. Bio-rhythms chart numerically by the law of 20. You have 10 fingers and 10 toes (20). (20 respirations a minute for the human body.) A person’s life is undoubtedly marked off in 20 year periods of change. Cells are constantly being remade and excreted every 20 minutes. Over a 20 month period of time, your biological preference will be altered as you are shifted in cellular structure. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that not only esoterically but scientifically 20 is indelibly important in your life. Until you become aware of its vital significance, there’s nothing you can work with to see actual tangible results.

Let us now shift gears up to the process of the instillation of the number 20. (IF you are born on the 20th or have a 20 destiny, this is doubly important for you.) Because you are a sacredly endowed human being who inhabits the earth plane, you are commissioned to cheer and inspire others. (These so-called others (mates) are no one else but you in mirrored form.) You are placed in a position of what seems like subservience; to care for them without their becoming dependent on you. You will continually do things for people without their ever knowing who did it. If you deveop a conscious thought, need or desire to be recognized for your actions, cease immediately. The act becomes infested with maggots of superficial glory. If you resent the actions, do twice as much.

Act spontaneously; whenever you see a need, fill it without praise, appreciation, a thank you, notice or applaud. When dealing with the sacred secret influence of the number 20, we meet the depth of our distinctive madness and self-entanglement. In order to rise above the abyss that snares us, we must liberate the self from constantly seeking love, recognition, admiration and acclaim. We must constantly plow down the need to be accepted/acknowledged for our accomplishments. Accomplish all that you WILL but for no other reason than to enjoy the process with the opportunity to share with others what you have gained. This solemn sacred secret admonition applies to the number of 20.

The sacred number demands that you release the need to be so ‘special.’ Stop being so preoccupied with how you appear to others. Or in other words, being consumed with what others think about you. What do YOU think about you? {You are deeply involved in a karmic stage of your life, enacting the sacred plot ‘20’ of the divine play.} You are to show up for yourself instead of performing for everyone else. You are never to be concerned with who gets it and who doesn’t. Unless you get past the point of wanting people to know how great you are through the achievement of academic, skilled, talented or professional accomplishments, you will forever be doomed to a life lived in silent suffering. The sacred number 20 grounds you in the simple things of true merit. You can not expect praise for what you do or ever will do. It can mean nothing to you who ever knows what you do, how much you have done or how you do it.

You are the star of your own human show. YOU DON’T NEED PEOPLE TO BUY TICKETS TO SEE YOU PERFORM. (Not, that they won’t in droves; but your need to have them come is where the iron bed begins to rust.) Don’t get caught in the rut of executing a robotically induced manner of living. Do more of what you least expect that would come form you. Then, you might get close to your real self and the source from which you draw your unrelenting strength and physical attractiveness.

You are learning to exemplify the divine expression of the most high in you the (0). You are free enough (2) to do that if you release the ghosts of the past while embracing the now. Don’t look back and compare or say that was a better time. This is the BEST time you can have! Neither peer into to the future for a brighter place. Today is where you sexually vibrate!. Today is where you show up for every unique performance life offers. Today is where you learn to give without wanting something in return. Today is where you don’t look at your watch to govern time. Today is where you realize that everything that has ever happened in your life, including all the people in it were called and carefully selected by you to enact your play where you were able to rise above your own faults and flaws of an earth driven personality. Today is the day when you turn from the horse race of trying to stay put in a position of comfort where the faces are familiar and kind to that place of the unknown which beckons your soul. Follow the movements of the crab and thereto will you find your true abode.

If you would but remind yourself that you agreed to every hardship, heartbreak, disappointment, delay and disaster that would occur while visiting earth, your journey will be more enjoyable and fruitful. You also agreed to every success, accomplishment, happiness, fulfillment and union of bliss. The number 20 so states the victory!

On the 20th of every month give something, do something, either in person, mail, e-mail, delivery, telephone, some type of correspondence, and/or with the invitation of flowers or a memorable gift to someone who you believe least deserves it. Do this act of benevolence in secret. Allow the magical extension of 20 begin to assert its massive influence. (For music, art and drama, it is especially desirable.)
